Quality Care by Professionals you can Trust

Types of Care

Waterloo House care home is a residential Care Home for the elderly located in the market town of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.  We also cater for residents that have a diagnosis of dementia or individuals that require similar support needs.

Most of our residents are permanent but we also offer short-term care for those needing some respite.  Respite care is an excellent way of seeing what is on offer before making a decision to come in to the Home permanently and often works as a useful way of familiarising yourself with the different aspects of the Home.

We welcome both residents who are self-funding and those receiving financial support.

Home Away from Home

At Waterloo House we don't accept that losing some of your ability to look after yourself also means losing your individuality, privacy, dignity and love for life.

Our residents come from varying backgrounds for a variety of reasons. What ever the reasons, we will ensure that we develop a care programme to suit your personal needs and interests.

Family, friends and other visitors are always welcome at Waterloo House (subject to current Covid-19 restrictions).

Staff are friendly and fully trained and most have been working at the home for many years and live locally.

Our Facilities

Waterloo House has 34 individual bedrooms (of which 7 have en-suite WC's).   All rooms are offered fully furnished and have TV points.   Residents are however encouraged to bring their own possessions to make it feel like home.

Our residents are encouraged to mix and make friends in one of the 3 comfortable lounges, and the large spacious dining room which has access to the garden for those who are green fingered.

There is a dedicated activities coordinator who ensures wide selection of activities is on offer including visiting entertainers, arm chair aerobics or sometimes just game of skittles or a walk into town, nothing is ever too much for the staff of Waterloo House.
