Record Breaking Summer Fete

The Waterloo House Summer Fete and BBQ was held on Sunday 4th August 2013.

A number of activities / attractions were designed by our residents and staff including  “how many balloons in the car?”, “hook a duck”, “skittles”, “how many sweets in the jar” and “name the flower” chosen by Ted Panter after his late wife.

We organised a very successful raffle with lovely prizes donated by Tony Ward garden furniture, 2 tickets to Market Rasen Racecourse, free MOT, lots of vouchers from the town, fish and chips for 2 ,£15 voucher from co-op and many more. We would like to thank everyone who donated the prizes (see full list below).

In addition a big thank you to our residents, their families and staff for supplying a superb mouth watering array of cakes.

The BBQ was enjoyed by all who attended.

The Summer Fete raised a record total of £668.94 for the Residents Fund.
