Summer Fete and BBQ

The Waterloo House Summer Fete and BBQ was held on Sunday 4th August 2013.

A number of activities / attractions were designed by our residents and staff including  “how many balloons in the car?”, “hook a duck”, “skittles”, “how many sweets in the jar” and “name the flower” chosen by Ted Panter after his late wife.

We organised a very successful raffle with lovely prizes donated by Tony Ward garden furniture, 2 tickets to Market Rasen Racecourse, free MOT, lots of vouchers from the town, fish and chips for 2 ,£15 voucher from the Co-op and many more. We would like to thank everyone who donated the prizes. A full list will be published soon together with photographs of the wonderful day.

The BBQ was enjoyed by all who attended.

The Summer Fete raised a record total of £668.94 for the Residents Fund.

Christmas Party Time – December 2012

A fabulous Christmas Party was enjoyed by our residents, their relatives and friends and our staff.

Music and Movement

We believe exercise is important for us all.

Music and movement sessions are very popular with our residents and staff.

These sessions bring a party atmosphere to our Home.

Halloween

Our residents get ready for the a Hallowen Party making traditional pumpkin faces.

The contents of the pumpkins were scrapped out and our cook made a lovely pumpkin soup.

Paper Mache

Our residents are seen enjoying making paper mache spiders.

The spiders were hung from the ceiling to add to the Halloween decorations!
